Love coming to the Lion! Great burger, & awesome fish & chips! Never had a bad experience! Great beer selection! The tall server has always been so friendly & attentive to our table! She’s great! Happy Easter!
Lovely fresh fish and chips!!! The chips were cooked juice the way I like them nice and crispy YUM
The prices were a bit high. Food was ok. I will give it one more try.
Went there for sister's birthday dinner. She loved the fish and chips. I had the shepherd's pie with a side salad. The mashed potato topping has a bit of a tang so it would never need salt. Meaty with rich gravy, I think I want to go back soon just for that. For dessert, I had the bread pudding with a warm whiskey hard sauce. It was too dense, sweet and whiskey-y for my palate, and I made the mistake of not balancing it with coffee. Otherwise I would have rated it 5 stars.
Love the food and ambience. Music was a tad loud but otherwise a really great place.
