Got married at the RLI in 2022 and my husband and I have come to the tavern every year since! The new chef and menu is fantastic! One recommendation would be to have some sort of mocktail though, or N/A option besides soda :) UPDATE: They added mocktail options and I am thrilled!! Thank you RLI
Great old tavern with great food. We went there for Valentine's Day dinner and loved it. The oysters and shrimp as starters were great. We had veal and salmon for the entree and a baked Alaska for dessert! I made reservations over a month in advance but they did get cancelled out of the blue but the hostess took care of the issue when I called about it. This place gets very busy on Friday and Saturday evenings....I strongly recommend main reservations. We highly recommend the Red Lion Tavern.
Beautiful venue, rustic but very charming, a great place to hold any large or small event. Was there for a very beautiful wedding
delicious meal, excellent service. cosy atmosphere with fireplaces and warm interiors
