Previously this was one of my favorite restaurants, but our last dining there was subpar. For the price of this place my expectations are that you get great food always and this last dining left us with 3 out of 4 meats overcooked by a lot when asked for rare. Dry, tough meat is unacceptable for a restaurant of this magnitude. Additionally, the smoke in the air from cooking became unbearable after an hour to where 2 out of the 4 of my party had to step outside for air. As soon as you walk in, it’s very smokey due to the kitchen. The smoky smell will stick to your clothes. We had appetizers and they were okay. Overpriced.
Great meal!
Best butternut squash soup around! Fall salad and short ribs were also excellent. My go to spot when I'm craving butternut squash soup.
