From the moment we entered the through the front door, I knew it would be an excellent dining experience. Our hostess was super personable, and the whole vibe was that of visiting friends you've not seen in awhile. It could not have been more chill! I loved the "dead flowers" hanging above us, and, as a Stones freak, I got the subtle nod. Big points! Our meals were absolutely fantastic, and was something we talked about for a few days afterwards. We'll be back on island soon, and can't wait to return to this gem. Eric
One of the best in Oak Bluffs! Loved the pork shank and the roast chicken with a buttery toasted corn bread stuffing. Nice decor and a very laid back feel with friendly, pleasant staff that don't rush things, just like Marthas Vineyard is known for. Will definitely be returning.
My friend and I had just had a bad experience at a restaurant up the street that rhymes with Timmy Bees. We were greeted so warmly by April at The Red Cat Kitchen and received excellent service from her as well. Order the crab cakes and Caesar salad when you stop by! They really hit the spot.
My friend and I had dinner on the deck, which was very pleasant. The waitress was great, no problem with the service. But my food was terrible. I got a noodle dish that I thought sounded a little weird for this kind of restaurant, but I decided to give it a try -- so incredibly mediocre for so much money. Way worse than what I could have made myself.
