Great workout area, but the basketball court is hardly available. $30-$35/ month for a membership, $10 day pass, but you have to call ahead to see if basketball court available due to events which they have scheduled in advance. This could easily be fixed with a weekly or monthly schedule of events, so that workouts and times can be planned accordingly. I was really looking forward to getting back to the gym after taking a hiatus. I see working out as an important mental outlet for me, and I also thought the rec center childcare would be a great change of scenery for my daughter. The gym itself is nice, with plenty of space and enough equipment, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the childcare area was very bleak and uninviting and the reason for me canceling my membership.
