Our food was rushed. The calamari was not cooked thoroughly. There was a graduation party in the restaurant was understaffed
The calamari appetizer was very good and the home made biscuits with the strawberry butter were delicious... but that’s where the good stuff ended. After the app we waited at least 40 minutes for our dinner and it came out lukewarm. It had obviously been sitting for some time. Taste was only mediocre. For $25+++ for entrees I was terribly disappointed. When our server asked how the meal was and I told him it wasn’t hot, he shrugged his shoulders at me and walked away. My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary party at the Real Macaw. It was beyond wonderful. great food, drinks and friends. The owner and staff could have not been more gracious and accommodating. Wonderful evening and memories.
The restaurant was elegantly cute. Intimate. Lots of outdoor seating too. Food was excellent.
They do a great job 👏👏👏will go back again. Parking lot bad.
