My 2nd visit to Eris. She takes so much time listening, confirming & wanting you to be happy! I am in what we'll call a transition phase from long to shorter hair & she's so great with "easing" me into it. I love The Rare Bird: the salon vibe is very homey and warm, very serene with retro decor, almost like your're at Grandma's. I’ve been visiting Sam and her team at the Rare Bird for about 2 years; I appreciate the approach that they all take to hair care. They put hair health first while still helping you get the outcomes you want. The salon is gorgeous and the environment they’ve created is relaxing and supportive. It’s never really crowded but even when they’re busy, it’s not overwhelming. The stylists are all easy to talk with and they even offer a quiet service which is very thoughtful. I love my appointments here!

Sam is amazing! I have short hair and her cuts anre always skillful and stylish. She always leaves me feeling so pampered and cared for. The salon space she’s created is peaceful and relaxing, I look forward to every visit. Her product recommendations are also top notch!
