My daughter and I met at the Rafters for lunch on Oct. 5. (She is from the Aurora, IL, area, and I am from the Platteville, WI, area, so we thought that would be a nice "half way" point to meet.) Everything the previous poster said was true for us as well: our server (Ann) was rude and stomped around as if she was upset about something (Same issues with the bill delivery as the previous poster.) Food was greasy-spoon type for sandwiches; the alternate choice was"farmhouse style" mashed potatoes and meatloaf for dinner menu. We went for lunch on Sunday, and arrived about 1:30 -- well after the lunch crowd. (They serve lunch from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.) Server was terrible: she came to take our order, gave us coffee, and we didn't see her for well over 30 minutes. It is great! You're gonna love it! – This restaurant is wonderful!!!! I can't say enough about the staff-so friendly! Ask to see a tour of the kitchen, they toured us through the whole facility at 7:00 Sat. pm!! Food was excellent...I had signature roughy, husband had steak...both out of this world!! So much to see from waterfall to gift shop..all 3 floors are outstanding. Can't wait to get back...much better than Galena
