I was sent by my primary care Dr on 9-8-25 for an ultrasound. The guy at the front desk with the blue hair was too busy texting on his phone and joking with his coworkers to even speak. The lab person that did the procedure was nice and informative. This is the part that gets me. This facility is in network with my insurance. Why would I be paired with a Dr who I'm guessing read the test would be out of network??? I came in June 30th for an abdominal CT that was urgent. Angie Sparks was very rude at front desk. My insurance did not cover CT. She told the other receptionist loud enough so everyone can hear in the waiting room that “her insurance won’t cover, she needs to pay out of pocket. Which she won’t do). When I got called to the desk and was told I need to pay out of pocket she was so sure I wouldn’t. I said I can pay out of pocket but is their a discount. Beware BCBS members. They have in network and out of network providers. Their website indicates their providers are in network with BCBSAL, not all of them are. If they send your images to an out of network provider they will balance bill you the difference. Make sure you ask them to send it to an in network provider for BCBSAL. You can not reach anyone to discuss, they refer you to the contracted billing company which is clueless.

I would let people know upfront that you are running HOURS behind. We do have jobs. Completely inconsiderate. I would have gladly rescheduled.
