I went in for my routine mammogram yesterday. I was promptly notified that there may be an issue and that I would need additional imaging. They scheduled me within an hour of the phone call. I was taken back almost immediately when I arrived. I was visibly upset. My mother nearly died from breast cancer. The young lady who took me back was incredibly understanding and performed my imaging quickly. She was able to have me wait briefly and she had the doctor look at the X-rays.
