Highly DO NOT recommend this dentist office. They prioritize money over patients. At my first cleaning, they insisted on unnecessary full-mouth x-rays or panoramic x-rays even though I already had recent bitewings. Dr. S told me, “You’re gonna have a heart attack when I say this,” before claiming I had 8–9 cavities — which made no sense given my regular dental care. After anxiously avoiding the dentist for a few years I couldn’t have picked a better place to go. Dr. S and everyone else at The QPD have been absolutely amazing the (many) times I’ve gone in. They were extremely understanding and gentle about my anxiety and guilt surrounding dental care but also very straightforward about the procedures needed and the care that I need to do on my end to keep my teeth healthy. Not a good experience at all. I called asking about a root canal and was told by there male receptions Shaun that they usually would out source and send me to a specialist so when I express that I would just rather go to a practice that does root canals in house he switch up with saying we do some root canals in house but they would have to see me first when the fact is they never do root canals in house at all he just said that to get me in the office. The whole team goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Booking an appt is super easy (just through website) for new patients and because you fill out all your info in advance, checking in/out is a breeze. They take my insurance (Delta Dental) and remove much of the anxiety of going to the dentist. So glad to have this woman-owned office in the neighborhood.
