Pure & Proper was initially a charming little surprise. My friend & I chose outdoor seating on a Friday evening, & for most of our meal there was only one other group seated outside. The setting was lovely & felt like a great place to relax & catch up. The menu is small, but the selections are creative & surprisingly diverse…poutine, ahi tuna, Brussels sprouts, mussels, fried items, & more. Amazing food, service and atmosphere! We came here while staying in black mountain and will for sure be back. We got the gnocchi, chicken, mussels and cheeseboard. I am dreaming about all of it but the gnocchi was our favorite!
Service at the beginning was a little.slow but got better. Great food options, especially if you like shareable plates! The Brussels were good, the tiradito was amazing! The lamb was absolutely insane and packed with lots flavor
