We had a great dinner at The Pure & Proper. The most delicious mussels we have ever had! The dishes were creative, flavorful and beautiful. Maura was our server and we enjoyed talking with her. Such a beautiful environment and cool menu.
What a great experience! We’ve been wanting to visit since it opened and so glad we finally got the chance. Fun atmosphere and great food in a setting with true personality! My husband and I had 3 “small” plates (the amount of food is more than small) - the cheese board with charcuterie, brussels sprouts and flat iron steak. Building is super cute. Solid restaurant. Eaten here multiple times and although I've never been wowed by anything I've eaten here, it's never bad. Did have a server issue once where they forgot our order of fries and it came out at the very end after we all had eaten our sandwiches. So kind of missed on that one. Overall a fine spot, but I wouldn't say a can't miss in Black Mountain
