Father’s Day brunch. Very busy but worth the wait. Food and drinks were delicious.
As a local, this is the best food in town.
Found The Pure and Proper visiting Black Mountain on vacation with our two furry babies in tow in a doggy cart. The place was packed on a Saturday but Carly seated us on their cozy rear patio which is a coveted seat in the evenings. She did this so we wouldn’t have to wait to enjoy our meal and experience which was sublime! Carly is an eagle in a world full of ducks and we will return to this place when we next visit! Must try the fried Brussels sprouts!
Very upscale, excellent food (very inventive flavors, and so tasty) and excellent service. We are from New York, so we know a great place when we see one. It’s expensive, but so worth it.
Dropped in for lunch at about 12:40 p.m. Very crowded and we had to wait for a bit. Not one problem. I was with a friend and we always love to talk. We were brought to an area on the right side by the kitchen and were seated. It was our first time there though we often go to Black Mountain. The menu is light on choices. My friend is vegetarian and she chose the potato leek soup which she enjoyed and also the Brussel sprouts which she offered to share. I took her up on that. More on that later. Really good!
