Good times and good food!!!
With all the new and old restaurants coming and going in the Triangle area, this has held itself up high and steady. It is our kinda place: charming, has a very inviting vibe, it only seats probably 50 including the bar so you feel right at home. Cozy atmosphere, great wine and drinks selection. They make the best French75! and the FOOD! Not enough good words to use in describing each menu, which changes daily ( another reason why we love this place). The Good: Starter was great, blackened shrimp super tasty. Steak was ok. The Bad: Shoved in so close to the other tables I couldn't hear over their conversations. Diet Coke - flat. May be back but not on a two-seater.
14AUG26 - Great place. Little noisy. Upstairs bartender is fantastic. We sat upstairs, there's no sidewalk seating currently. The road is under construction the sidewalk is about half as normal width. Be prepared to walk a block or two from where you can park. I had they fish with mushroom and spinach. The table shared an order of fries they are fantastic. The cocktails were awesome I had the BLACKENED NC GOLDEN TILEFISH -- Creamy Spinach, Fox Farm Mushrooms, Balsamic Brown Butter. Chef's kiss🫰🏻🤌🏻
The bartenders are incredibly friendly and greet us with warm smiles; they know our favorite drinks as soon as we walk in. The atmosphere is inviting, filled with quiet conversations, and the soft glow of ambient lights that makes you feel right at home. Every visit is enhanced by the delicious food, which consistently exceeds our expectations with its vibrant flavors and skillful presentation. We do miss sitting outside...Apex hurry up with the street renovations!
