Purchased a saddle from them as it was the same price as other online retailers and I figured I'd give them a try. Big mistake. For context, I'm in Canada and TPC ships with Fedex. I expected to pay duties and taxes as always, but I wasn't expecting a massive surchage that Fedex applied to use them as a customs broker. I never agreed to this, nor did I have the opportunity to decline the parcel and clear this myself as one should - Fedex left the parcel in the lobby of my building. Contacting Fedex, I learned that TPC agree... read more

Just 4 days after receiving my 2017 Specialized S-Works road bike, I returned it back to TPC. The bike evidenced a groaning and vibration when under load during my one and only ride. I traced it to excessive rear wheel wobble impacting the rear brake pads. It's beyond belief that they would ship a bike out to a paying customer in this condition. I called a "Ride Guide" but couldn't get any useful information on their so called "141 point inspection" procedure. They wanted me to take the bike to my shop to get the problem dia... read more

I purchased a "Brand New Unridden Bike" it came with multiple cosmetic damages, mechanical damages to the point it could not be ridden with out having a bike mechanic fix it first. The bike I was sold was NOT the bike in the photos. The bike in the photos was new the one I received was beat up and did not have the same stickers or reflectors. Instead of dealign with the problem they blew it off and sent me a return shipping label, no explanation, no apologies. Terrible, misleading and dishonest. Wow.

Do not buy from The Pro's Closet. They do not stand behind their products. I bought a cannondale road bike from them 3 months ago, and despite their claim that they do a complete inspection of the bike, the headset on this bike froze up and started bleeding rust. This is a relatively new bike and I paid too much for it because it was the bike I wanted. So I contacted them and they were pretty condescending and told me that the weather could cause the headset issues (I never got the bike wet in 3 months) and so on and s... read more

I want to say upfront that I have not purchased from The Pros Closet to date. However, my comments have to do with their pricing, which I feel is completely out of line. They list bikes with serious scratches, dents and chipped paint, yet charge the same or higher for a brand-new bike. In my estimation, this is a rip-off, and this is why I won't use them.

The Pro Closet is more like a rip off closet. They refuse to negotiate and treat potential customers like crap. Matthew is especially arrogant and unreasonable. Steer clear of this gip joint. You’re far better off buying on Kijiji.

After buying several mountain bikes from Bike Exchange, this was an entirely different experience: the box is designed for pruprose, the bike was immaculate, the tires were no through aways and the components exactly as stated. Yes it might be just a little more money than a Craigs list, pink bike or Bikem Exchange but the bike has been vetted and is with a warranty and will be exactly as stated.

I received a very good offer for my Bianchi Infinito to use as a credit to purchase a Cervélo Gravel. Receiving my new bike was quick and easy. Assembly was in minutes and easy to understand. I then sent the Bianchi using the same box and packing with a provided shipping label. Within one week, they received my bike and processed the credit. Excellent business and biking experience!

If you have a bike for sale, the Pros Closet will offer you half the bike's value in hopes that you sell. I showed them a bike I had for sale which sold for $3500 and they offered me less than half. I was curious to find out what they were all about. Now I know.
