He works the reality company and not for you. His inspection was very hands off. Did not pull face plates even after seeing open ground outlets. Do yourself the favor and get a quality home inspector that takes the time to see if you have knob and tube and will recognize and inform you of recent work that was completed not up to today's code.
Took a quick look through the home. Didn't address any of the major problems that inevitably popped up. Didn't see the bare wires in the attic. Looked past the obvious water damage and said it must have been from another time. Didn't see the seal on the back door was ruined and rain would pour right in. Didn't see the garage door was messed up and rain would leak in underneath. Didn't catch the painted-over newspaper stuffed into the side door to hide a hole, which mice used to get in and our of the house. Didn't catch that ... read more
