Dr. Morris really knows his hormones! Regular practitioners test for the minimum amount of t3 or t4 for thyroid function. I have known for years and even had seen a reproductive endocrinologist that said thyroid function cannot be said is functioning normally with just those two tests. A pcp rarely asks to have more extensive hormone testing and does not understand the results when sent to them because it isn’t their realm of knowledge.
