RecommendedSecurity was great. They even passed out water to the crowd towards the end of the show. Great place to see a show too!
they overcharged me for the Tyga show and then lowered the price closer to the event! not willing to help. that's scummy and illegal
Went to my second show at the Pressroom on Friday, July 20th to see Gorgon City (first time I saw Kaytranada) and both times did not disappoint and went far and above my expectations. I highly recommend spending the extra on VIP. The management, security, and bartenders do a smooth job of making you feel like a valued guest and they take care of you. Even without VIP the crowd is great and there isn’t an un-fun spot in the venue �
Let me tell you.. the management, security team and bartender staff at The Pressroom are top notch. Each and every one of them made my VIP experience the best I’ve ever had. This venue is one of the best in Phoenix. I highly recommend checking them out!
Been to the Pressroom for three metal shows now, and haven't had any complaints until last night's Fleshgod Apocalypse/White Chapel/Black Dahlia Murder. We showed up at 7pm (doors opened at 530, first band 6ish) and they were already out of draft beer!!! They only had 1 IPA, which of course they were out of. Bad planning Pressroom! At the least the venue was comfortable in the 108 degree heat
Great venue! Definitely my favorite in all of Phoenix, the atomosphere is great and the service and employees were all so nice!
The location sucks, but the venue overall is good. Y'all have fun cleaning up the venue last night? haha! I wish you could take the building and relocate it, staff seemed welcoming, security, not so much, but they were fair. Drinks were pricey, but aren't always at bars though? The place was so hot during Insane Clown Posse, maybe time to charge up the ol' A/C with some freon. Worst music venue I’ve ever been to. Staff is terrible and the owner is even worse. His staff never gave me a wrist band LIKE MOST VENUES DO UPON ENTRY and I didn’t have anything to hold my money and id in because they don’t allow bags in the venue so unfortunately my things fell out of my pocket. I went looking for my Id asked the bartenders and was talking to the bouncers and the OWNER rudely interrupted And said to me “it’s not my job to find your id” and than kicked me out for having a drink in my hand.
