We hosted a military gala at the press room and it was exceptional. The venue is very unique and not your ordinary event space. The staff was awesome, from planning, catering, to execution. Would certainly recommend hosting an event here.
The Press Room is such a great venue to photograph. It has a unique historic charm that adds real depth to the atmosphere. The lighting is perfect for dark and moody images, and there are so many interesting textures and backdrops throughout the space that make for some great portraits! Also, the team who runs the venue is friendly and easy to work with, which always makes a big difference. Can't wait to be back at the venue!
Great venue space with historic charm tucked in the heart of downtown Tacoma. I've walked by several times, peered through the windows, and wanted to make it to an event here. Finally had the chance for a Chamber Happy Hour this week. This place has such a fun vibe with art and historic decor spread throughout. What an amazing venue for our recent wedding! There is so much history, character and charm to The Press Room and you can tell that Linda and her team took great care into curating such a lovely space. It was absolutely perfect for our wedding - we had many of our guests review how fantastic of a space it was and we ourselves felt like it hit all the marks.
