Great ambiance and food. Especially loved the beef and polenta. Great area and wonderfully represented farm to fork restaurant in Sacramento.
An excellent dining experience...attention to detail. The food and service was impeccable. Very nice ambiance! Can't wait to dine again!
First, two small nits: Our party of five was seated at a table barely adequate for four. This worked out because the empty plates were removed promptly. The other complaint is that the second set of flatware was placed directly on the table's surface. Though the cloth napkins were in our laps, it would have been nice to have the replacements placed on a paper napkin. Now, on to the raves. The wait staff is extremely attentive. Visited the Press on a date and everything we ordered was amazing. Started with a pomegranate press, and a kettle one and soda for cocktails and was highly impressed. Shared the mussels in white wine sauce and they were phenomenal, also split a duck confit spinach salad with persimmon and pistachios. Divine. My date ordered the short ribs with creamy polenta in red wine sauce and I have the swordfish special accompanied by a risotto and roasted Brussels sprouts.
