I wish I could keep my original 5-star review, but unfortunately things have gone completely downhill since new ownership took over. Management here nitpicks tenants over petty things — like giving us 24 hours to remove a dining table from our balcony — but takes forever to fix real problems. It took three weeks to replace our dryer, a cabinet under our sink is still broken, the gym has almost no usable equipment, and the pool was shut down by the health department for months. Do not recommend living here. My experience at The Preserve at Spring Lake has been nothing but stress and disappointment. The apartments are paper thin — you can hear everything your neighbors do, and there is never any quiet time. There are parties 24/7 at the pools and around the community, at all hours of the day and night. Maintenance is a nightmare. LET ME JUST SAY THIS THE ROACH PROBLEM AND MOLD PROBLEM IS HORRENDOUS. For starters we bombed this place when we moved in because we seen roaches. We have called before to come have pest control come and spray and nothing no one came except for one time when I went to the office to complain about this problem. They ended up coming the following day. My dishwasher was clogged I had to keep calling in to try and get to Someone because no one would pick up the phone. The laminate floor is cheap. The management team is awful.. Bianca O. was so much better, but Laura and her family of cousins were so rude to her and made her so uncomfortable she left. This is not a family owned building yet, all of the management staff is related so fair warning. Be careful what you say.
