don’t waste your time The office’s response is slow and tells me there are no available units, although it shows available here. Ask for a tour, no tour; ask for a room, no room! If there is no availability, just don’t post it as available online. I wasted my time waiting for their response with a “no” answer.

Been living here over a year now The townhouse we rented over a year ago, and just signed another lease. We moved here from out of state and the office staff worked with us because we had never even seen the apartment until the day we moved in. There have been a lot of improvements over the year and with improvements and workers here all the time, sometimes things get over looked, the staff have always dealt with my issues in a timely matter.

Business response:

Thank you for the review! We are happy to hear the Preserve at Darby Creek is still your home! Our goal is to provide an exceptional experience, and a place you are proud to call home, so please reach out if there’s anything you need. -Stacie

Believe in the Reviews I believe the 1- 2 star ratings for poor customer service by current residents. I called three times in a week just for information before seeing all the negative remarks--- a week later no one had returned any emails or voice messages (Not to mention, there is a different contact number for them on every site). They obviously are interested in new business, so there is no possible way they are interested in maintaining current business if I were a tenant. NEXT!

Management is poor We love living here however the management is aweful and it has ruined our experience. They do not return calls, maintenance does not fix any problems requested, and management does not care about complaints. Also construction is going on and the workers have no consideration for the residents. This place have the potential to build a nice community but the management is going to run out all decent people.

Business response:

We are very sorry to hear you are not having a positive experience at the Preserve at Darby Creek. We are committed to the highest standards of customer service and sincerely apologize if you feel we missed the mark. I would love the opportunity to speak with you to discuss your experience further. Please call the office at 610-532-1120.

Not Worth the Price As a previous tenant, I thought I would be getting a more updated and improved version of the previous apartment I rented about 5-10 years at the old Colonial Park West Townhomes (previous management). It turns out I am renting almost the exact same apartment in terms of condition and just paying 1,500/mo now instead of the 850/mo I previously paid. The increase in rent could be justified if the apartments were improved but I have had more problems in my first 2-3 months here than I did in all of my previ... read more

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are very sorry to hear how disappointed you are with the many upgrades we've made at the Preserve at Darby Creek. While the hardwood flooring is original, we did sand and refinish the wood and our residents love the result! Other upgrades include new kitchen cabinetry and appliances, new carpets, individual washers/dryers, and much more! Some of these items are not cosmetic, such as plumbing, electrical work, and boiler upgrades that have helped significantly with heating e... read more

Unprofessional Huge rent increase with some paint and flowers. Option to get "upgraded kitchen cabinets" that are cheap looking and will double my rent. Property right next to industrial truck yard that's unsightly and loud. Never enough parking! Office staff a joke. Property manager unprofessional and petty. Rodent issues abound.

Business response:

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback here, although we’re sorry to hear you’ve had a less than exceptional experience at the Preserve at Darby Creek. We understand rental increases can sometimes be a surprising, but these are based on the many improvements made to the community and local market conditions. We would like the opportunity to discuss your experience further. Please call us at 610-532-1120.

dont do it If i could give a score lower than 1 star that would still be too many. From the moment I put a deposit down on my apartment there has been nothing but trouble. I the management staff is incompetent with poor communication skills. Only been here a month and i am still fighting with management to get repairs done to my apartment that were not addressed before my disaster of a move-in. Calls and email requests go ignored. Not sure if the staff was not properly trained or just down right do not care about any issues ... read more
