They are building a new bigger building for the port hotel. The hotel has Friendly staff who are polite and helpful.
If your looking for 5 star top of the line hotel, this isn't the one. If your looking for a great place with that mom and pop feel then this is it. Check in was easy and they have the old school keys and not a key card. Balcony opens up to the marina and water where you can watch manatees eat breakfast in the morning. They are building a new building next to it and I hope this hotel stays because I would definitely stay here again.
My son and I stayed here overnight on our way south. We rented kayaks the following morning before we headed back out on the road. I absolutely love this little place and the people! will definitely be coming back. Thanks so much!
