While the representatives are nice here unfortunately there are many cons to the Police Credit Union. #1 You can't lock your card through the app, #2 The app wont let you know when big purcahses are made, #3 The app is often very slow and under maintenance compared to capital one where it's never under maintenance, #4 opening or closing an account with them is a pain in the butt, #5 Their teen banking cards(they are debit but act like credit at atms) always are weird with purchases and atms, #6 no good fraud protection at al... read more
They just changed their online banking deposits. Even after the check clears, they will hold the money and not let you spend YOUR money until they see fit. I have been doing mobile deposits for decades and now I'm on the verge of closing my account. Edit after their response: No, I will not contact you again and have one of your reps gaslight me like I'm wrong for wanting to have access to MY money. I tried that already. Terrible service. As a member of law enforcement, it’s embarrassing having organizations such as this credit union who claim they support law enforcement. Would not recommend banking here.
