I would not recommend Still River Apartments. This is an apartment complex poorly maintained, and run by a management company to maximize their profit at the expense of their tenants. I lived there for two years. After two months I experienced a major leak. The water heater above me broke down and all the water drained into my apartment. Apparently this happened to a few of my neighbors too. Management likes to keep the equipment until it fails catastrophically. My first rent increase was 5%. RecommendedEverything from leasing to maintenance and to our stay in our new home so far! The place is very peaceful and comfortable. The neighborhood is the best! I would love to recommend this place.

It is very disappointing to see such negative comments regarding this property, I have lived here for over 2 years and have not experienced anything like the things posted on this page. Prior to Buzzotu taking over this property last year, the hallways were dirty and the apartments were outdated. Beware of this location that is formally in Avalon community. The new company Bozzuto is horribly run and it's taken a property that was declining into a new depth. I resigned the lease with Avalon just prior of them selling with no notice. In my agreement was I can move to another Avalon Community with no penalty which is what I I was planning to do due to job transfer. I left my apartment in beautiful condition move to a new Avalon location and now bozzuto is trying to charge me $5,000 because they are desperate and cannot... read more
Publicly traded company that only cares about the MONEY. You can't speak to a human being, their directory is designed to give you the run around. I'm gong to get my application fee back and partial deposit or we're going to court. STAY AWAY FROM AVALON. Shawn from Avalon Danbury is a scumbag.
On site office has nice people, but the main corporate office is of no help. They just look for different ways to screw you. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
