I have spent many years travelling for work and the military. Do not support this company. This multimillion dollar company and CEO Stephen DeFrancis sued a 92 year old woman with dementia because she had to break her lease to be moved to a nursing home. Lived in the same apartment for 60 plus years. Not this complex but still Cortland. Paid rent on time and in full. And they sued her. She lived in deplorable conditions while there and they sued her. This is how this company and CEO makes their money-suing a woman who has no idea who or where she is
Management of this apartment is the worst I have ever dealt with. Constant issues with no solutions. Please save yourself the headache and stay away from this property!
I recently had to transfer units within this community because of ongoing renovations, and honestly the whole process was more stressful than it needed to be. First, my application for the unit I actually wanted was never even reviewed, even though I followed up multiple times. That unit ended up going to someone else.
