I’ve had a few recent events at the Point and they’ve all been lovely. Casey and team were particularly amazing on a recent celebration of life for a friend. They helped get it all set up, were patient and thoughtful, and made sure we had the perfect event for such a sad occasion. We loved the venue inside and out. We are out-of -towners and hosted our destination wedding at The Point in August 2025! In our home city, we had a difficult time finding affordable venues that would allow for outside vendors for food and other necessities. The previous year we traveled to San Diego for the first time for our friend’s wedding. As we began assessing costs for our wedding, we realized there were many affordable venues in San Diego. Wedding planner was not great. If you just do a ceremony you DO NOT GET THE ROOM. They do not make this clear on their website. When asked what we are paying for she struggled to list three things off. Basically paying thousands for just chairs and a permit? What a joke, go talk to the place next store, your welcome
I wanted to give a huge shout out to the entire staff for helping with our wedding at The Point. Sofia was our coordinator who helped make sure our big day went off without any issues. She also had another person helping day of which was greatly appreciated. We also got lots of help from the owner during our rehearsal which was priceless. A wedding with 2 dudes meant me didn’t really have a lot of thoughts on how it should flow and they helped craft the perfect experience for us. My daughter had her baby shower at The Point, and it was a wonderful time. The venue was perfect! It was roomy, clean, and had an abundance of natural light. The staff were amazing and worked hard to ensure everyone was taken care of and having a great time. The Point is definitely the perfect venue for any gathering.....large or small.
