I had seen two other local podiatrists in the Alamo Heights 78209 area for their opinion on my bunion until I came in to see Dr. Gunter. And boy am I glad I did— he offered me a minimally invasive bunion surgery that the other doctors did not. I am now 3 months out from surgery and am bunion-free and pain-free. Excellent doctor. Excellent bedside manner. Explains your condition in plain language and recommends appropriate treatments. You can’t go wrong with this doctor… highly recommend.
The Experience was great from the beginning to the end of the appointment. Carmen was very helpful to get checked in with my information and insurance. Dr. Gunter was great, he took his time to hear my issues with both of my feet and come up with a treatment plan. I had a steroid shot in the past to my feet by another Doctor it was very painful how administered it. Dr. Gunter did an excellent job administering the same shot.
Dr. Gunter has been awesome taking care of my elderly mother. He was very knowledgeable and professional, took very good care of her during surgery and follow up appointments. Thank you for your utmost compassion and care.
