My aunt and uncle could not be happier that they sold their house and moved into this development! New construction. Senior community. Conveniently located near everything except the shore. Seriously! Stores, restaurants, movie theaters, bowling and games, the Cherry Hill Mall and just Google the area. Large apartments. Secure buildings with elevators. Garages available. Garbage collection from your apartment 6 days a week. Indoor and outdoor salt water pools. Community center with fitness room, ballroom and movie room.
We moved in a loved one a few months ago. Since day one, there have been issues with the intercom system not working, electricity and plumbing issues, etc. Today we received a notice that the elevator is down. There is only one elevator in the building. These buildings are newer. There should not be this many issues and glitches from the get go. For a 55 and above place, the contractors did not plan well, and it shows.
The move-in experience was amazing. Geovanna was friendly helpful and gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. Although the community is nice and the grounds are maintained, the building itself continually has issues or breakdowns with their elevators. For a 55+ community you’d think they would have backup plans or other amenities in place to assist. Moving in the biggest seller was seeing other residents in wheelchairs and that being a comfort for us. This has been a nightmare. My uncle wants to be independent and ... read more
