Pizza Place on Noriega is a much needed pizzeria in a district that seems to specialize in Asian food. Noriega serves great thin crust pizzas with fresh toppings. The pizza are greasier than the average ones you'll find elsewhere. On offer are also beers and wines, wash down that greasy pizza with a pint of Papst Blue Ribbon or Widmer Hefeweizen. This place is a nice hang-out to meet friends and spend a evening chatting and trading stories.

Citysearch Editorial Review – When swell is cranking over well-formed Noreiga St. sand bars, surfers can work up a serious appetite after hours in the water. With The Pizza Place on Noriega just four blocks from the beach, they don’t have to go far to satiate their hunger. While the name of this spacious surf-centric pizza joint may lack creativity, the rest of it does not. A mural of road trippin’ pizza pies crowns the top of this storefront, and the menu includes roasted cauliflower, sweet potato steak fries, and broccoli ... read more
Best pizza i have ever had! I love all their specialty pizzas, but i also like plain pepperoni, mushroom and anchovy pizzas. Chock full of salty healthiness! The staff is always really nice and everyone always has a lot of fun here. They definitely have the freshest toppings and wonderful cheese!. Convenient tables, not too close to others.
Good Pizza – The only reason that I am not going to give five starts is that the wait for the pizza is quite long (I mostly get takeout) - but if you have a beer and sit at the bar it goes by quite quickly. I wish is that I knew the people here, because no matter how many times I go, everyone seems to know each other and I always feel like the left out kid. Anyways, the pizza is good, the salad is good, the beer is cold.
Best Pizza Ever – My family loves going to the Pizza Place. There is not may places that you can go have a few beers & a slice of pizza with your kids. The pizza & beer is great & cheap.!
Excellent Pizza – This is the best pizza in the Sunset, unless you like the dough-y cheap fare you get elsewhere. The crust is truly thin, and these guys know how to do it right. They do get very busy, so I'd recommend some patience. I wish they delivered, too - we'd do business with them a lot more.
Editorial Review by Lorraine Sanders – Thin crust gourmet pizza--whole or by the slice--comes slathered in toppings at this casual Outer Sunset joint.
regular pizza joint, but not your regular pizza – The pizza here is excellent. Thin crust with gourmet toppings i.e. caramelized onions, thin sliced potatoes, smashed roasted garlic, fresh jalapenos, etc. The atmosphere is what you'd expect out of a classic pizza joint, not something you usually find in San Francisco, including pitchers of beer, yet still caters to this city's crowd with Timmy's Vegan Pizza (to die for!) and other friendly options. The roasted cauliflower with orange, olives and chili pepper and the mixed gr... read more
A welcome addition to the Sunset – These guys wacked a homer. This location is the old Dean's Deli. Two guys (Kevin & David) from Boston with resturant experience remodeled the deli and created a great no frills atmosphere. They are serving real pizza in the Sunset at reasonable prices. Thin crust and fresh toppings. The $4.00 pints are always welcome. Check it out you will not be disapointed.
