This place was simply amazing!!! Everything was great. Especially the complimentary valet parking. Service was out of this world. We left so full and satisfied PLUS we had leftovers. Can't wait to go back.
The food was excellent. I had the coarse chopped brown. Good mix of crispy and juicy bits. The sweeter sauce was good, too. The beer selection is extensive from IPAs to Hazelnut Milk Stouts. This place is quite a bit fancier than most BBQ places I normally hit so, if that's your thing, this is your place. I would go back.
RecommendedThe hospitality was awesome which was a great compliment to my delicious meal. Bathrooms were superior!! I will return. Parking was so,so that's why I didn't it a full five star.
Awesome food but our waiter didn't explain the menu to us like he did the Caucasian people seated next to us... But we tipped him well cause ignorance is bliss...
On our son's recommendation, we first tried getting to the one in Chapel Hill, but apparently it's closed? Either way, we made our way to Durham and it was SO worth it. The Lexington style BBQ was on par with any of the best I've had. The service was friendly and on point, and the beer selection delightful. Can't wait to get back.. (or someone open The Pit in Charlotte? :-)).
