These apartments prior to new management and the construction were an absolute steal for the size and location. They're by no means perfect - as it is an older building, but I adored the size for a one-bedroom (massive balconies) and wish I had been able to enjoy the now carpetless further upgrades. My main complaints were the lack of upkeep when the new management took over and making decisions without letting us know what was happening, or vouching for the residents during the construction next door. I've been here about 1.5 years in a renovated apartment . The apartments are quiet and in a good location . The lady saying you can find better apartments for less is just being a Karen . She was complaining about the windows being huge but the sliding doors and windows are actually incredible.Anyone with common sense knows that on 0 degree days you might need to shut the shades even with double pane .The maintenance guy is very nice and honest . The apartments are in a great location but that is the best feature. Apartments are spacious and decent cosmetic upgrades but the windows are poorly insulated and not energy efficient. When you enter the living/dining/kitchen area there is a major drop in temperature in the winter. Floors squeak from the neighbors upstairs, thank goodness though you can't hear people in their apartment, only when they are out in the hallway. I have lived at The Pines for only a few months, actually moved in right before the stay at home order, and I have been very pleased. The apartments are older but have been updated and the rooms are nice sized. I like that there is a nice sized storage in the basement. as well. Seems to be quiet overall and friendly neighbors. Any problems that I have had the response has been quick.
Great experience so far. Apartment has been renovated and in a great location.
