Don’t stay here, spend the extra money. Terrible bed, wallpaper peeling on the walls, the heat didn’t work, there aren’t any blinds on the window that’s literally right next to the toilet. No receptionist to check you in so you have to wait around or call them to get someone to come to the desk. It’s terrible. Not worth saving some money.
We booked a room with two beds and only got one bed. Hotel was full so they could not accommodate. We were offered an uncomfortable cot with pee stains. Rooms are dirty and walls are not insulated, it is very noisy and hotel is overall antiquated. I would recommend sleeping in your car
I was willing to accept the stained carpet, no elevator, broken tv, and lack of staff… until I saw there were no blinds or curtains in our street-facing room. We frustratingly had to take time to maneuver our own out of towels and pillow cases. It’s a shame— the location is prime, just a short walk to Main St/Mirror Lake, but there is clearly no care or thought put into maintaining the property. Even basic privacy and safety needs like curtains are a no go. You’re paying for location….and that’s it, folks.
Do NOT STAY HERE! This could be a cute place but it would cost several millions to get it cleaned up! There is NEVER a check in or check out person. There’s a reason for that. There are so many problems with this place it’s amazing! We had 2 tvs. Neither worked. Because they didn’t have it attached to the system. NO CURTAINS OR BLINDS. TV IS APPS FPR CHANNELS/MOVIES AND CUTS OUT BECAUSE WIFI IS NEEDED AND IS SPOTTY. THIN WALLS. OLD BROKEN FURNITURE. THOUGHT I WAS GETTING AN OLD VICTORIAN FEEL BUT WAS JUST OLD AND RUN DOWN. ONLY LOCK WAS TURN LOCK ON KNOB. WALLPAPER PEELING OFF. HAS A SMELL AND OVERHEARD OTHER GUESTS DISCUSSING THE SMELL. RESTAURANT MENU OVERPRICED FOR WHAT THEY OFFER.
