Great spot. Owner and employees are very friendly and efficient. Coming from a service background, I love to see an owner jump in and bus, bar back and wash glasses when employees are in the weeds. All around great experience. It is busy around 4pm as should be expected at the mountain base. Don't get discouraged. They do a great job. I've been coming to PC for over 30 years and just found my new favorite base bar. Thanks Yuba city friends!
Best saloon to stop at after a great day skiing. The nachos & pulled pork are fantastic. Great atmosphere and friendly servers. Too bad Vail thought they needed to change the name to Apres. Bring Back Pig Pen! Get over yourself Vail!
I had the best pulled pork sandwich ever! The pork was lean and plentiful and the slaw on top was fabulous - not dripping with mayo - and it had the largest variety of chopped/shredded vegetables I've ever seen in a slaw. Can't wait to go back next year!
They changed the name to Apre's. You can't change the name to that preppie crap 💩 it tha pig pen!!!!
We LOVE the Pig Pen and go every year for a shot and a shirt! Super sad they aren't open in the summer!
Great place to enjoy a bite to eat or a few drinks after a few runs !
