I do not recommend hiring Mike, the owner of Pergola Factory for any contracting work. I initially trusted him to build a pergola in my backyard, and we agreed on a $7,000 project. He asked for a $2,000 advance to cover materials and promised to start the following week. It’s now been over a month, and he has failed to begin the work or return the money. Same story as the others here. Agreed on a price, date and product. He postponed for many reasons many times until he canceled. He did give me a refund for my deposit and communicated.
Claimed to need a 50% deposit for materials a month in advance of the project. Told me 2 days prior to the install date that he was having “personal problems” and could not complete the job. Ive heard all kinds of excuses from him such as a family member is dying, labor issues, emotional issues, now he’s suicidal. Can’t get my deposit money back and he’s stopped answering calls and texts. Beware of this pathological liar and crook!!
Don't use this guy. Always some story why he can't show up. Now he has written me a hot check and will not make good on it. Stay clear of this guy
The pergola factory built a custom pergola specifically designed for solar panels. Crafted out of western red cedar and stained coffee brown I am very pleased with the craftsmanship.
