Awesome staff
I hate to give this place 1 star, but I feel obligated. The reason is that I booked this place specifically for the rooftop bar. "Omaha's only rooftop bar" in their words. I booked on their app, checked in and headed to my room. On the elevator, I learned that the rooftop bar was closed for renovations. It is a lovely high-end downtown hotel. The peregrine theme is well integrated into the entire esthetic. The accessible bathrooms are very well designed.
Wonderful stay. I was traveling for business and will definitely stay again for business or travel for fun. The hotel was very clean and the staff were so friendly. The downstairs was decorated and inviting. Great to just sit and have drinks at the bar or chat. I arrived late due to flight delays. I was able to call ahead and order dinner with the kitchen before they closed and pick up warm food as soon as I arrived. They were incredibly kind about it. I was initially worried about parking—garages are $25 and valet is $40—but the staff let me know that street parking is free from 9 PM to 9 AM, and only $1 an hour outside those times. I was hesitant about leaving my car on the street, but they assured me my car wouldn't get broken into. I even left my skis and bike rack on the car with no issues. The staff was great!
