Booked this place specifically for the rooftop bar - we would have stayed closer to Old Market if not for the rooftop. Terribly disappointed to learn upon check in (not even then, had to read it on a chalk board) that it was closed for renovation. Would have been nice to have been advised ahead of time so we could have rebooked another location. Second stay there. I love the rooms !! During this second stay, my room did not have a chair or a sofa... it was definitely a bad point. But bed was comfortable. Bathroom was gorgeous with a huge window. I loved the light in the bathroom. Fridge in the room was useful. Parking was easy to find in the street and it was cheap. Breakfast was less tasty than 2 years ago. And some furniture need improvement (broken shower door handle). I would be back !
On our road trip, we booked a stay here for the first time and were genuinely impressed from the moment we walked in. A beautiful hotel, that feels very nice, but it wasn't a great experience in a few areas that could easily be improved. The rooms are wonderful. The hotel is immaculate. It is well appointed and modern, with elegant design chocies. They are rennovating the rooftop bar, and I am sure it will be great if it is anything like the lobby or rooms.
