I’ve lived here for 5 years. This was the first year anyone gave a hoot about decorating the place for the holidays. I loved the decorations immensely. I’d give 5 stars if the person who owns the building and the property manager took as much pride in their job as Skip does. The people that are on site do with what they have, but this building needs serious work. I’ve been told the work will be done, but all I see are bandaids.
I have lived here for 2 years, and what started as Byers and Harvey—turned into NexGen. I will say it seems as though NexGen cares much more than B&H, but like most places there could be improvement. Skip is an absolute delight! He went all out of the Christmas decorations this year, and it made me smile every time I came home after a long day of work. Marquita and Skip really care and take care of the building and residents. New management is much better!
I can’t say enough good things about the management at this apartment complex. Marquita, the property manager, is always incredibly kind and does a great job keeping tenants informed and up to date. Skip, the maintenance coordinator, truly goes above and beyond! Work orders are handled quickly, and he shows genuine care and concern for the issues rather than just rushing to get the job done. After having lived here for 7 years I have seen the absolute lows of property management, including the owner's sister, who wasn't even the worst, and Byers & Harvey, who were so terribly unprofessional that I can't believe they're in business anymore. In comes NextGen with Marquita and Skip, like sunshine breaking through the storm clouds.
