Jenny P is the best! Great service and a great stay for our trip. I highly recommend the Pelham and their staff...Jenny went above and beyond to make our trip work, as we had some last-minute changes due to storms.
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel up until house keeping came after the 3rd day and when we returned it was completely clear to us that housekeeping with through our luggage. Black boxes that were repurposed by my wife had not only been taken out of my wife’s suitcase but opened, poorly repacked and left outside of her case on the ground. My suitcase had also been opened up and my medication bottles had been moved. Nothing was taken because we pack light and didn’t leave anything behind worth taking. The Pelham Hotel was a gorgeous hotel with an art deco slant. Since I love the 1940's, the details in decor and vibe was such a nice feel. My room was cozy but clean, and I thought it was a nice touch to have that era of music on the radio when I entered my room. The hotel has a prime location, just steps from Canal Street. I wasn't thrilled that the staff was a bit pushy with their upsells but I say no quite well.
Great experience overall
We loved it here - extremely kind staff, great location and very good value for your money. Special thanks go to Janelle, our wonderful desk manager, who helped us out so much.
