I was very disappointed with the Peery Hotel for the following reasons: The check-in counter man was difficult to work with. My $139 reserved a room advertised on the website, booking.com, jumped to $237. He said there were taxes and $25 deposit (not $75 in tax!) I showed him the site I reserved from and he said he couldn’t match that price. Bait &switch !?! Furthermore, no free private parking. I paid to park, only to not stay there after all. Idk what the rooms were like. It is an old bldg and the lobby smelled stale.

The hotel is in a great location if you plan to visit the sites downtown. The rooms are extremely small and the air conditioner was so loud it will disrupt your sleep. I was very surprised to get a $2 charge on my credit card after we checked out for a bottle of water. As a Honor’s member it was suppose to be free. I’m not going to take the time to dispute it but I will warn you that they have little regard for loyalty. My advice, stay somewhere else!
Hotel has a spacious room which is nice but the slow WiFi made it really hard to do work. The elevator is also really loud with a big jolt, followed by a low bass rumble. I thought it was thunder at first and had to look up the weather at 2am because it just kept waking me up.
