Great Steak – Our steak was great! The salad bar wasn't as good as I remembered, but it was still very good. Our service was also very good. It is a bit expensive, but a good steak is worth it!
Our group of 4 ate there last night for the 1st time and had a great meal. One of the largest variety salad bars I've seen. We had the prime rib and blacken chicken and both meals were great. The only bad thing was they brought the steaks before we were finished with the salad. Attentive service. Expensive but it was worth it.
Too expensive We use to eat here all the time, the food is the best however over the years the portions have gotten smaller and the prices have gone too high. Love the atmosphere.
Want a steak? The Peddler is exactly what it sounds like, you can get something off the menu or they will peddle a fresh cut of steak at your dinner table. Thats right they will hand cut your steak at your table and cook it to your request. They offer steaks, chicken and I think fish. Dont expect to leave hungry or rich, the food is good but the prices are expensive.
A Difficult Call – This is a really tough restaurant to "review' - and while I can't be quite as tough on it as a couple of the reviews below - I more or less agree with what they are saying. Beautiful location and a great facility. They have a high quality salad bar (which is similar to "The Park" restaurant which is owned / operated by the same folks). Great Salad Bar Lousy Meal Not Worth The Money! – The service was excellent as was the salad bar.We should of stopped there. We Did NOT enjoy are meal at all!! I ordered a fillet and it was not cook as ordered even after it was sent back once. My son ordered grilled shrimp and they were not done either. My husband has prime rib and it was not great. For a 90.00 dollar meal I was not pleased and will not return..
This Restaurant is Overrated – I didn't like the Peddler but I can't put my finger on why. All meals are expensive and come with a trip to the salad bar. The salad bar is fresh and has lots of variety - including smoked oysters which I ate by accident. A waitress told me they were artichoke hearts but I didn't think they looked like artichokes.
