I attended an event at the Parrot House recently, and it was an experience I plan not to repeat. The event was slated to begin at 5pm and end at 7pm, with dinner being served to 160 people during that time frame. At 5pm, the space reserved was still being set up. The food was nowhere near ready, and there was not enough indoor seating, so many people were forced to sit outside during an event that was meant to unite a company's crew and show appreciation for their hard work and dedication. There were 10 of us. 2 children and 8 adults. It took almost 2 hours to get served. I got eggs Benedict and hash browns. The plate was warm the meal was not. My wife had pancakes that looked like cardboard and tasted even worse. We asked for jelly and catsup. Never got the jelly and the catsup came after the meal was over. I have never had such bad meal and we have lived all over the the USA. None of us will ever recommend this place.
Went to a private Christmas party here. The location was beautiful and the bartenders were very funny and accommodating.
