Best ice cream in town, hands down. If you don't do the dairy, there are many vegan options available that are delicious. Creative new flavors rotate on a regular basis, both dairy and vegan flavors. Don't miss this place if you are in Durham!

Located at the edge of a courtyard simultaneously overlooking one of Durham’s best examples of architecture (the Hill Building) and one of the ugliest (the former Jack Tar Hotel), The Parlour is by far my go-to for ice cream when I’m anywhere in the area. The flavors do rotate, so that amazing butter pecan scoop you got last week may not be on the menu when you return, but they usually have enough of a variety that you’ll find something you like.
