Not Worth Your Time – So many great places in San Francisco... and this isn't one of them. Location (near the wharf) will probably keep this place going and nothing else. Service was poor and management is certainly disinterested in the customer experience. I'm sure the gentleman that wrote the previous review found the staff to be friendly and professional because the corporation throwing the event was dropping a wad of cash on the place.

Really Impressed ! – I went there for a corporate event last week and we had a great time. The lounge was a comfortable place to grab a cocktail before our event. The staff was friendly and professional. After our event was over the club got packed with a good looking crowd.

There are much better places in SF... – I would give it NO stars, but that is not an option. In the 30 minutes I waited to get into this overhyped hybrid bar/club here is what I observed outside: 1) a shreeking fire alarm going off and no one doing anything about it, 2) aggressive and even violent bouncers who forcefully pushed girls out of the way of the door (knocking one to the ground) and slammed a door ON one guy's face, and 3) a guest list with no one on it. Citysearch Editorial Review – The Parlor is to Bourbon and Branch as Anna Nicole is to Marilyn Monroe: similar concept, but far less interesting than the original. For example, Craft and classic cocktails? Check. Staff garbed in prohibition-era costumes? Check. The Parlor even has a "library room" with a secret door covered in fake books.
