After 14 wonderful years running The Panton Store in Melbourne, now feels like the right time to hang up my city retailer's apron to relocate our store to the place we call home: South Gippsland. Most of the wares in our range will move with us, and our online store will continue to remain open for trade throughout the year until our new store opens in November 2023 as the Toora General Store. This store is a real time capsule, it’s like stepping into what someone thought would be trendy in 2003. Imagine Bunnings’ garden section had a baby with the Myer clearance rack. You’ve got some basic pottery (the kind that looks like it was made in Year 8 ceramics class), a flock of random bird figurines, socks that scream “last-minute airport gift,” and cleaning supplies you can literally buy next to the milk at Coles.
