RecommendedDue to COVID I was unable to host the wedding my fiance and I originally planned at The Palms. That did not stop them from throwing me the most beautiful bridal shower I have ever seen. Their staff went above and beyond to make the day effortless for my family and I. The plush greenery, and beautiful flowers, gave the day a tropical feel; like we were no longer in Chico. I HIGHLY recommend The Palms and We Do Design. I could not have imagined a more perfect and gorgeous day!
You get a tropical vibe even though you in the valley. Like a little trip to Hawaii

I hosted a very large (over 400 people) event at The Palms and everything went great. From the moment I saw the venue, signed the contract, worked with Rachel prior to the event and the day of the event, everything went very smooth. Since the event I have had a chance to talk with my guests and they rave about our event at The Palms. Also, something I did not know about The Palms. They also have a company called, "We Do Designs" and they did a super job of helping us with a theme, designing and suggesting all the needed stuf... read more
Clean and Beautiful! The Cook did a wonderful job with the food!
Absolutely stunning Oasis tucked just outside town! I was honored to be part of the entertainment for a Beautiful birthday party! The staff was incredible, helpful, and a pleasure to work with! So many gorgeous details, in a serene setting for any special occasion! Sincerely Gypsy Mountain Face Painting!
For one thing they can provide more than two bathrooms if they expect to have MORE THAN 400 PEOPLE at their weddings. In addition the 300 people who were at the wedding in July 2011 were suffering in the heat; the Palms DID NOTHING to prevent the 400 guests from suffering in the heat. They clearing violated major safety issues.
This venue is gorgeous and immaculately maintained! I had not heard of it prior to attending an event there last week. It is a jewel of the Chico area!
