I had a very negative experience with Dr. Idi Allen at The Pain Relief Center in Fayetteville, GA and want to share it so other patients can be aware. During my visit, I felt that Dr. Allen was dismissive and not really listening to me or my health advocate (my husband). He often interrupted and talked over us instead of answering our questions clearly. For example, when I asked about treatment options for pain management, I didn’t receive helpful explanations. I'm not upset with the doctor, I'm upset with everyone else
I wouldn't even give 1 star if I could. Several weeks ago I made an appointment on the same day my Dr sent over my referral. Gave all my info. My appointment was on a Tuesday and on the Friday before the appointment I get a call wanting to know my insurance agin. I had already given it to them when I made the appointment. The lady on the phone said she will verify the insurance and call me back. She then sends me an email, not a phone call, to tell me that yes we are in your network. First I want to begin the 2 ladies in the office staff were very sweet and helpful. Of course I was there to see Dr. Allen and yes my very first appointment. I want to say he pushed me on the test he had to administer but at the same time he did everything with care and understanding. Dr. Allen very thorough and detailed and listened to my concerns. Honestly he seemed to just know what my issues were from his examination. Wonderful physician and I am happy to now be his patient under his care. I recommend seeing him if you a... read more
