Spent a wonderful 2 hrs on this beautiful creek while our hotel room was getting ready. Very scenic and relaxing and the staff was great.
Easy to park, pay, and get into your kayak. Great folks working there too! I’ll do it again the next time I’m in town.
We enjoyed a wonderful morning of paddling on Shingle Creek yesterday. The weather was perfect. Our guides were charming and knowledgable. Our party of ten set a leisurely pace and appreciated seeing many wonders of nature. The best part- for Canadians- was that there were no mosquitoes or other annoying bugs of any kind! We highly recommend this activity.
Josh was an amazing guide! Our entire group was having a really great time! Josh is extremely knowledgeable on the environment, the history, the ecosystem, etc. 10/10 would recommend Josh as your guide! He lets you air out your crispy boi’s and doesn’t laugh at you when you think a barracuda is a type of venomous snake 😂
Dave and Kathy were absolutely wonderful! It was our first time kayaking, and they were great teachers with lots of helpful tips and instruction. They took their time and were patient with all of us (we had a mixed group of newbies and pros). They also shared lots of information on the wildlife we saw and history of the area. I have already recommended them to my friends and family. I will absolutely kayak with them again!
