I had the opportunity to try out hyperbaric treatment at the P-treatment by Dr. Deborah Dunn in Vail, Colorado. Despite being unsure what to expect, it was a rather relaxing experience, I even took a short nap. I was worried about feeling claustrophobic but the chamber was very spacious. They checked in on me frequently and I even had a walkie talkie to talk to the staff if needed. I left the experience feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the new year. During my stay in Vail, I had my vacation stopped short due to altitude sickness. I found hyperbaric treatment online and was able to get an appointment. I had an exam and then put on scrubs to get into the hyperbaric chamber. The chamber itself was very relaxing as I was able to lie down and get some rest. This treatment immediately helped improve my altitude sickness symptoms. I was also surprised at how this treatment helped provide joint and muscle relief. My husband and I were vacationing in Vail over New Year’s Eve when we contracted Covid. We immediately sought treatment from Dr. Dunn who gave us the best care we could imagine! My husband had pretty severe symptoms and within four hours after his first treatment he felt significantly better. He continued to improve for the rest of our stay. I would highly highly recommend Dr. Dunn and the P treatment. Thank you for all you did for us!
