I had a colectomy performed on me while I was unconscious in the ICU. Afterwards when I was in rehab, the experienced nurses (including wound care nurses) could not keep my colostomy bag from leaking. It had to be changed 2 to 4 times a day. Absolutely fantastic...THE best! My Dad had an emergency iliostomy back in March, there is very limited help available post-op with ostomy care around Fort Worth, and follow-up from the hospital is very, very minimum. My Dad was having leaking issues, it was exhausting for him. Thankfully we found Marklin. Got my Dad in, and no questions were left unanswered. Marklin went through everything and showed us exactly what to do. We left feeling so much better and more educated. Knowledge is power and Marklin is a fantastic resour... read more

I cannot say enough positive things about Marklin! After surgery, I was released from the hospital without being given the proper knowledge nor resources to care for my ostomy. I had horrible problems with leaking and no one could seem to help me. By the time I found Marklin, I have severe skin irritation from where the waste had eaten away at my skin, causing EXCRUCIATING pain.
