He seemed pleasant. Showed me my X-rays. Asked if I had brought images of my first set. I gave him a print out of the results from another facility. I was not given any CD from the first one. Apparently, no images could be emailed from the first facility. So I had to get new X-rays. He mentioned I would need to do exercises for my ankle. But never went over them or gave me instructions in a handout. I don't know if that was something for later or he just forgot.
My appt time that I confirmed the day before hand was incorrect. Dr. Jaffe has no bedside manner and gave the bare minimum of his time. I was so incredibly disappointed and feel unseen.
I had severe pain in my shoulder, the x rays showed I had arthritis. I tried to tell them it was not arthritis pain but they wouldn’t listen. Saw the PA and another Dr and they couldn’t get past the arthritis no matter what I told them. They just wouldn’t listen. After a shot where I had arthritis with no relief I went to another orthopedic surgeon. They did a mri right away. I have a severe tear in my rotator cuff. Dr. Jaffee ordered x-rays and reviewed my MRI’s. He gave me his evaluation quickly and referred me to physical therapy. I was pleased with his thoroughness.
