In response to Wayne H. I currently work for the Original Mattress Factory, and am sorry to hear about your experience. Are top of the line beds come with a 12 year warranty, and are middle of the road beds come with a 10 year warranty; our least expensive beds come with a one year, nine year pro-rated warranty, so your mattress is still under warranty and if you call our factory location we'll be more then happy to see if there is anything wrong with your mattress. Ah, a good nights sleep... If you are tired of seeing those over priced bedding, you'll be happy to step into the Mattress Factory. The store on State isn't a lot to look at but you'll find everything you need right in there, along with watching them build the bedding. THeir mattresses are built just as well as the name brands, and hundreds less. We've been very happy with our purchases and service from this company.
INSULTS THE INTELLIGENCE OF THE CONSUMER Called CS Rep. out twice reg. Ultra Plush Mattress INDENTATIONS. All they do is talk and absolutely nothing is done bec. it cannot be fixed. THEY DO NOT DISCLOSE BEFORE PURCHASE ABOUT INDENTATIONS, which will happen and leave you with a mattress with two sides of indentations and a high valley in the middle (picture that for room decor)!!!!Warranty they say is at their discretion. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, MATTRESS, AND COMPANY!!!!!
Just the Best We have purchased 4 sets from these kind folks over the years. All have performed exceptionally well & are still in service, three here & one set in Texas. Our queen sized Ortho Extra Firm that is 10 years old looks like new. The only reason we replaced it was our son took his set to Dallas. So instead of buying a new set for the guest room, we moved out old ones, & bought an identical set. We did have an issue with the box spring on set #1, OMF replace it, no charge & no hassle. Mr. Had bad experience with sagging in the middle of a queen pillow top. Did not use this specific location, use South Blvd. Charlotte, NC. Bed only lasted 1 and 1/2 years before the body impression kept me up and bed started to give me terrible back ache and would wake up feeling like I was hit by a bus in the morning. Horrible piece of junk!!!! Do not buy from the Original mattress Factory!!! We purchased a mattress that was expensive and can't sleep on it. The sales person was not knowlegable in what we were looking for. The mattress has a giant hill that goes up in the middle and it slopes off on either side. So depending on what side you are sleeping on you either roll up hill or down hill. My husband actually fell off the side of the bed in the middle of the night!! Original Mattress Factory is nightmare Bought a not so cheap mattress that is in horrible shape. They don't stand behind the warranty at all. I wish I would have bought elsewere for cheaper. Never buy from Original Mattress Factory.
The Original Mattress Factory The Original Mattress Factory is a really cool place to watch a mattress get made. To me that's about the only thing I would feel safe doing at the Original Mattress Factory. The salespeople seemed a little bit shady, or else too pushy. Maybe it was just me but it felt like when I left, there was going to be a police raid on the store at any minute. The commercials make the place look really nice and safe, which it is, it's just the people that make you feel uncomfortable.
Dont cut corners on service Too many times we see salesman who don't follow-up or stay in contact with their clients. They're nothing but clerks. In the car business this has happened and all throughout retail. The sale doesn't stop at the point of sale. Too many stores don't do a good enough job after the sale with service and deliveries. And then stores wonder why they suffer. You suffer because you don't understand that the sale continues all the way through delivery and follow up.
