Highly recommend where on holiday or business trip. Great location opposite the golf course and a 2 minute drive to the town centre. This retro style hotel goes the extra mile - free soft drinks in the fridge, free snack from chips to fresh apples in your room every day! Luxurious bathrobes and slippers. A dark coloured face wash cloth to take off make up and luxurious bathroom ammenities and towels. The heating was turned on for our arrival. Nice location but very expensive not a local pub vibe at all wouldn't wear jeans and a t-shirt here if your looking for dinner.
Went here for the annual fire festival, in a word,magnificent.
Overall, our stay at The Oriana was nice, but based on the 4.5-star rating and all the glowing reviews, I was expecting a little more. The room was on the small side but very clean, and there were some thoughtful touches such as fresh milk, a welcome bag with biscuits and drink vouchers. However, there was only one 2 English Breakfast tea bags provided one was broken for a weekend stay, and the complimentary fruit wasn’t fresh—the apples were soft and shrivelled.
