Overall, a great stay at The Oriana in Orange. It’s definitely not your average motel - the funky decor and little complimentary touches make it feel more boutique, and the sauna and cold plunge are a real standout. Only downsides were the room having a musky smell, which took away from it a bit, and breakfast at $25 didn’t feel worth it so I’d skip that next time. There were also some rude guests around, but that’s obviously out of the hotel’s control.
Retro style superbly brought back to life. No cookie-cutter tick-a-box here, all aspects of the place are obviously deeply considered and cared for by the hosts, making it a point of difference. Massive tick of approval.
This is one of the best hotels I have been into in terms of service and complementary items. Right from being welcomed by the friendly staff and being given a short tour and finding the rooms with complementary water, soft drinks and fruits. The room was already warm because the aircon had been turned on.
Had a fantastic stay here. The lady at reception couldn’t have been more helpful and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The room was spotless, comfortable and well presented, and the complimentary drinks and snacks were a really nice touch. Great service, clean room and excellent value — would definitely stay again.
Amazing, can be hit and miss when travelling regionally for work, this is an absolute gem and look forward to staying here again.
